The automated kiosks manufacturer Touchplat has recently revealed a new case. The company equipped the cafe Petrushka with a new self-service checkout machine. Cafe Petrushka is a canteen of the new generation with a comfortable interior, reasonable prices , and a good selection of dishes focused on a healthy lifestyle. Earlier the number one the canteen problem was queues before the cashier’s checkout at lunchtime. To solve it, Petrushka’s owners got in touch with Touchplat. Considering the cafe menu and the customer’s requirements, «Touchplat» proposed introducing self-service checkout.
The Touchplat engineers decided to customize the classic self-service kiosk Q-24 for a given scenario because there was no suitable kiosk in the company’s product catalog. Thus, Touchplat equipped the machine with a floor stand and a platform for trays. In addition, they built into the kiosk housing a barcode scanner to scan meal receipts and pay.
«We were looking for a partner to launch a pilot for self-service checkout for our cafe. Touchplat offered the most optimal solution regarding the ratio of technical characteristics and cost. The company engineers quickly figured out our rather complicated technical requirements. And the quality of the proposed solution exceeded our expectations,» – said Roman Lebedev, Petrushka Group CEO.
The self-service checkout machines have helped the cafe Petrushka eliminate queues and deliver higher customer service. Touchplat can launch a similar solution in any catering establishment, from small cafes to large fast-food restaurants.

So, the new self-service checkout machine produced by automated kiosk manufacturer Touchplat helps eliminate the queues in Cafe Petrushka.
